Liquidation Map (Heatmap) Explained — How to Read It, Free
Updated: 2026-10-28 · Türkçe
A liquidation map estimates where leveraged positions would be liquidated and draws them as clusters on the chart. This page explains how it's built, how to read it and how to open it on any pair on ByStock for free.
How it's estimated
On centralized exchanges (Binance, Bybit) real positions aren't public, so those maps are estimates. A common method assumes 10x, 25x, 50x and 100x positions opened at key swing highs and lows and computes their liquidation prices: long liquidations stack below price, shorts above.
How to read it
Dense clusters are where many positions would be force-closed. When price touches a cluster it's 'swept'. Whether more clusters sit above or below (imbalance) is read as the map's 'magnet' direction.
A map from real positions (Hyperliquid)
Hyperliquid is an on-chain exchange, so account data is public. ByStock collects addresses from recent trades and reads their positions and TP/SL trigger orders, giving a real map built from the exchange's own liquidation prices. The aggregated version for BTC, ETH, SOL and 14 coins is on the liquidation map page; on the chart use Indicators → "🔥 HL Liquidation Map". Coverage is Hyperliquid and tracked addresses only; no individual address is published.
Open it on ByStock
On the chart pick Indicators → "🧲 Liquidation Magnet": estimated clusters, swept levels and the above/below balance on every pair and timeframe, free. "🎯 Magnet Fib" combines it with the Fib Zone Plan for entry/stop/target.
Does it work? (test result)
Across 124k sweeps on 41 crypto perps over 2 years, price reversed after 60% of sweeps vs 57–59% on random candles — not a strong stand-alone signal, but useful as a filter.
