Frequently asked questions
What does the Bitcoin liquidation map show now?
Across tracked Hyperliquid BTC positions, about $60.4M of long liquidations sit within 10% below the price and about $62.9M of short liquidations within 10% above. The largest long cluster is near 76,258 (4.9% below, $25.7M); the largest short cluster is near 81,068 (1.1% above, $30.6M). Within ±5% the two sides are roughly balanced. (2026-10-29 10:03 UTC)
What is a liquidation map?
A map of the prices at which leveraged positions would be force-closed. Long liquidation prices sit below the current price, shorts above.
How is this map different?
Most liquidation heatmaps are estimates that assume 10x–100x positions opened at swing points. This one is built from positions actually open on Hyperliquid, using the exchange's own liquidation prices. In exchange its coverage is narrower: Hyperliquid only, addresses our collector has seen.
Is a liquidation map a trading signal?
No. Clusters show what would be force-closed if price got there, not that it will. We don't attach a trade plan to this data.
